The U.are.U 4500 Module is intended for integration into devices like PC keyboards, POS terminals or kiosks, entry and/or attendance control devices, etc. Technically the module is an OEM version of optical U.are.U 4500 fingerprint reader without metal case.
The module is sealed from dust and designed to be easily mounted into various hardware. U.are.U 4500 module is available in standard and small footprint form factors.
Futronic’s FS82 USB 2.0 Fingerprint Smart Card Scanner is a combination of FS80H fingerprint scanner hardware and ISO7816 smart card reader.
The fingerprint and smart card readers can be used together for two-factor authentication. A fingerprint template is stored on smart card and can be compared with a fingerprint scanned with the fingerprint scanner. Also the fingerprint reader and smartcard reader can be used separately.
The fingerprint reader part features precise optics and infra-red illumination that allow to scan wet, dry, blurred and other problematic fingerprints reliably.
Futronic FS83 serial Fingerprint Authentication Module (sFAM) is suitable for using as a remote scanner or as an embedded module.
The module can be embedded into access control device, point of sales machine, electronic safe or other similar device. 4 wires serial interface allows to control the module from any host computer. The manufacturer specifies that the module itself is also able to store and recognize fingerprint templates thus it can be used as an embedded fingerprint recognition device.
Note, that power adapter or power supply are not included with sFAM.

The module can be controlled by any host system via Ethernet (TCP/IP). 4 wires serial interface is also available. The manufacturer specifies that the module itself is also able to store and recognize fingerprint templates thus it can be used as an embedded fingerprint recognition device.
The module is able to control an external relay via an output channel. Also it can read information via 2 input channels from external sources like door sensor or switch.
