Suprema BioMini Combo is a device that contains optical fingerprint scanner and smart card reader.
The fingerprint scanner is based on a fingerprint sensor, which was certified by the FBI as FIPS-201 / PIV-071006 compliant. The manufacturer specifies that the sensor is able to reject fake or spoof fingerprints and works well even under direct sunlight.
The device also contains embedded contact smart card reader. The smart card reader accepts ISO 7816 and EMV 2000 smart cards. 5V, 3V and 1.8V cards are supported. The specified transmission rate is from 2 to 500 kbps.
Futronic’s FS88H is an enhanced version of FS80H fingerprint scanner. The FS88H was certified by FBI to be compliant with PIV-071006 Image Quality Specification for Single Finger Reader. The scanner is also listed in the US General Services Administration (GSA) FIPS 201 Evaluation Program Approved Product List. The FS88H meets the US Federal Information Processing Standard 201 (FIPS 201) for Personal Identification Verification (PIV) of Federal Employees and Contractors.
The scanner is suitable for high-traffic applications like border control, identity card, driver license, election or any other type of civilian AFIS, as it is able to capture high quality fingerprint images almost without distortions and has a rugged sensor.
The U.are.U 4500 Module is intended for integration into devices like PC keyboards, POS terminals or kiosks, entry and/or attendance control devices, etc. Technically the module is an OEM version of optical U.are.U 4500 fingerprint reader without metal case.
The module is sealed from dust and designed to be easily mounted into various hardware. U.are.U 4500 module is available in standard and small footprint form factors.
