VistaEY2P is a compact multimodal biometric device that is able to capture dual iris and face images. The device provides single gesture iris & face capture with LiveEye anti-Spoof Detection.
Irises and face capture is performed at 22″ (about 0.5 m) distance. Iris images capture is improved by using multi wavelength infra-red illumination, distance sensing technology, integrated mirror and LED-based feedback. Multi-positional iris illumination allowing authentication on most target subjects with eyewear. An integrated flash allows to capture faces in low-light environments.
The iris images are ISO/IEC 19794-6 compliant and face images are ISO/IEC 19794-5 compliant.
VistaEY2P also includes integrated microphone and speaker that provide 16 KHz 16-bit audio I/O, thus making it suitable for user voice capture which can be used in multi-biometric systems with speaker recognition.

VistaFA2 from Vista Imaging is a compact multi-modal device that allows to capture iris and face images. The device uses USB 2.0 connection for communication with host devices.
The VistaFA2 acquires iris images that are compatible with ISO/IEC 19794-6 standard and face images that are compatible with ISO/IEC 19794-5 standard. Iris images are captured using the proprietary distance sensing and accurate focus analysis. Face images are captured using a 3 Mega-pixel camera with possibility to use built-in flash in low-light environments.
VistaEY2 is a compact dual iris and face camera manufactured by Vista Imaging.
The device is able to capture both irises simultaneously. Also the device includes 3 Megapixel camera for face capture and microphone for voice capture. The device produces standards-compliant iris and face images: the captured iris images are compliant to the ISO/IEC 19794-6 standard and the face images – to the ISO/IEC 19794-5.
The manufacturer specifies that VistaEY2 multi-positional iris illumination allows authentication on target subjects with eyewear.
Easy to use, the system can be reliably positioned by the subject with minimal instructions, or by an operator with the aid of positioning feedback LEDs on the top of the imager’s housing. The patent pending optical design of the BMT-20 includes expanded depth of field and a very large interpupillary distance range, providing effortless capture for subjects of all ages.
Intended for applications in which subjects have limited prior experience with biometrics devices, the BMT-20 is ideal for enrollment programs of all sizes, including those involving very young children.
